Reily Road Paving Updates
September 10, 2025
The paving work is finished as is most of the restoration work. Only pavement markings and punch list items remain. The project is considered substantially complete.
July 31, 2025
Concrete curb and drive apron work is complete. Milling (Grinding) and asphalt intermediate course paving to be done August 4th & 5Th. Once this work is complete, full depth pavement repairs and driveway tie-in work will be performed, followed by surface asphalt course paving.
July 11, 2025
Concrete curb and drive aprons from Hickory Hill to Springfield Pike are complete. Remaining curb and drive aprons will be completed by the end of July. Paving work is scheduled to start the first week of August. The project is well ahead of schedule.
June 16, 2025
Concrete curb and drive aprons from Liddle Lane to Springfield Pike are complete as is the new (replacement) sidewalk along the north side where the water main was constructed. The contractor is pouring curb and drive aprons on the south side of Reily Rd. between Liddle Lane and Hickory Hill this week. They will be doing the north side next week. The project is approximately one month ahead of schedule.
May 30, 2025
Curb and aprons are substantially complete between Springfield Pike & Liddle Lane. The contractor will be working on the tie-ins from the new concrete aprons to the existing driveways as well as continuing their curb/apron work between Liddle Lane and Hickory Hills.
May 14, 2025
The curb and drive aprons between Springfield Pike and Glenway were completed last week. The contractor will now be installing new curb and drive aprons between Glenway and Liddle Ln. over the next few weeks. They are starting on the south side and then will do the north side. Once they complete this section, they will be moving to the section from Liddle Ln. to Hickory Hill. The contractor will notify residents of what dates they will be out of their driveways while concrete is poured.
March 11, 2025
The City of Wyoming will begin construction on Reily Road (between Hickory Hill and Liddle Lane) on Monday, March 17. During construction, the sidewalk will be closed. People should refrain from walking through that area due to the hazardous conditions.
One lane of traffic will be maintained during construction for buses and vehicles, but delays are expected.
Construction in this area is expected to take about a month.
October 31, 2024
The City will open bids for the project on Nov 12th and a contract award will be proposed for the November council meeting. Construction may begin as early as late 2024; however, it is expected that the majority of the work will start in early 2025 with completion set for fall 2025.
August 16, 2024
The City was awarded a SORTA grant to make improvements to Reily Rd. The scope of work will include new concrete curbs and drive aprons, asphalt pavement resurfacing, minor widening, and partial water main and service replacement. Project limits will be Springfield Pike to Hillcrest Dr. Construction will take place in 2025.

The City was awarded SORTA funds to pave Reily Rd. The project will consist of some water main work, new curbs and drive aprons, and pavement resurfacing. Construction is anticipated to take place in 2025.
