Have you considered becoming a volunteer firefighter or EMT, but need more information? Wyoming Fire and EMS offer its members a diverse and dynamic working environment. Firefighter and EMT recruits receive training and equipment with a commitment of three years of service. In addition, the department offers weekly drills and various special trainings throughout the year. In order to be a volunteer firefighter you must:
- Be 18 years old
- Be a high school graduate or have your GED
- Complete your Firefighter I Course or EMT Basic Course
If you are interested in volunteering with Wyoming Fire and EMS we will provide your training and equipment in return for volunteering three years of committed service.
