Energy Aggregation Program

Gas Aggregate Update 11/3/25

“There are number of natural gas account in the City that may receive a notification from Duke that they will no longer be on the natural gas aggregation program with AEP Energy. This was done in error. AEP Energy meant to send a rate change to Duke associated with the new aggregation rate but unfortunately a drop notice was sent to Duke. AEP Energy is working to have this fixed as quickly as possible. Impacted accounts should receive another notification from Duke that they will back with AEP in the upcoming days.” - Rich Surace with Energy Alliances

The City of Wyoming works with its energy consultant, Energy Alliances, to manage our gas and electric aggregate programs. We have worked closely with Energy Alliances to evaluate our aggregate programs and to provide the best service to residents. One of the main goals of the program is to provide price stability. Prices are locked in for extended periods of time which gives residents protection against future price hikes. We will explain each of the programs separately, our electricity is provided by Dynegy and our gas will be provided through AEP Energy.
