Economic Development Commission
The City is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Economic Development Commission. It is anticipated that a vacancy will be available towards the end of 2021. The Economic Development Commission (EDC) works with City Council, developers, residents, and the business community with a focus on improving the economic climate of the City. They meet as needed on the first Tuesday of every other month at 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room of the City Building.

Promote Wyoming Commission
The Promote Wyoming Commission (PWC) is seeking a Wyoming resident volunteer with professional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations and/or journalism. The PWC in the City is an action oriented body whose main purpose is to promote the City of Wyoming to potential residents and business patrons, and act to promote and assist with community news and events. The Commission also assists with community branding, volunteer recruitment, public communication and marketing efforts, new resident reception, promotional projects, and other similar efforts and activities.

Urban Forestry & Beautification Commission
The City is also accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Urban Forestry and Beautification Commission to fill an unexpired vacant position that will expire December 2022, at which time one could be reappointed to fill the full term of the appointment, which is for three years. The Urban Forestry & Beautification Commission (UFBC) serves in an advisory capacity to Council regarding the enhancement of public properties and rights of way and other enhancements, beautification efforts, and revitalization efforts within the City of Wyoming. It establishes programs, approves regulations, plans, and promotes forestry and advises Council on Urban Forestry issues. The Board also acquires and administers green areas within the City. The Commission sponsors initiatives through the City that promote trees and educates residents about the importance of a healthy urban forest. They meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at the City Building
