WBA Frequently Asked Questions

NEW! Does WBA have a website?
No. For now, our Facebook page serves all of our web-related needs, but we hope to outgrow Facebook with your help by becoming a paid member.

How do I join WBA?
Talk to one of the WBA executive officers at a meeting, or shoot us an email – we can help you. Or, if you know you want to join, membership payment is easy. Simply send payment through PayPal to wyomingohiobiz@gmail.com or let us know that you want to be invoiced – you can still pay online or by check at a meet-up! Business memberships are only $50 per year, and non-profit memberships are only $25 per year!

Why types of businesses can be in WBA?
Any type of business can be part of WBA! From startups to soloprenuers to seasoned long-standing businesses and NPOs, if you’re in business in the Wyoming area, we genuinely want you to be part of this.

What if my colleagues or I am not WBA Members – may we still attend?
Yes. We want Wyoming, Ohio-area business owners to be able to check this out before they commit to joining. Membership is only $50 per person for the whole year for businesses and $25 per year for non-profits.

Is this a special event, or are all WBA meetings like this?
WBA has a renewed focus on providing value to Wyoming-area businesses, so each month will feature a subject matter expert who introduces a topic, then opens it up for a roundtable discussion.

Is networking part of WBA meetups?
Yes. Someone is generally at the Wyoming Civic Center by 8:50am. From then until 9:10am (sharp) the floor is open to networking.

I have a late morning meeting. Do you end at 10am-ish, or 10am sharp?
We believe in respecting the clock, so we will always be adjourned by 10am, sharp. Those who want to stay for additional networking may do so.
