Mark your calendars for the annual spring curbside leaf pickup season, March 13-28. As long as your leaves are out by the end of the day on March 28 they will be picked up.
There is no schedule to the leaf pick up. Crews will drive their routes continuously until all leaves are gone. As the volume picks up it will take longer to go through the city but crews will attempt to get to each street at least once per week.
Your leaves need to be placed just behind the curb and up into your yard by no more than 10 feet because the hose can only reach so far. If there is a car parked in front of your leaves the truck will get them the next time around. Do not rake your leaves into the streets or the gutter areas as this is what clogs the storm drains during heavy rains.
