Water Works Department

The Wyoming Water Works Department provides the water services for Wyoming residents, businesses, and a few neighboring communities. Located within city limits, six wells pump ground water into the water treatment facility where it is processed for consumer use.

In June 2000, the new water treatment plant went online with the capability to process three million gallons of water per day. On average, the plant produces one million gallons of water per day. Tours of the water plant can be arranged for school or scout groups, or just for your curiosity. Call the plant at 513.821.0037 to make arrangements or use the contact form on the home page in the green ribbon.

Under the direction of the Public Works Director and the Assistant Public Works Director, three Water Works Operators are trained to respond to a variety of inquiries and emergencies 24 hours a day.

Most water main breaks are repaired within two hours of the Public Works repairmen arriving on site. The Water Works Department assists residents in locating and stopping leaks. They also provide such services as explaining water bills and help to resolve complex water quality issues and regulations to residents.
