Leaf Pickup – Mulch Delivery – Storm Damage Yard Waste Pickup

Leaves
The dates of the spring and fall curbside leaf pick up are always published annually in several ways including but not limited to: mail, electronic newsletter, website, and social media outlets. Leaf piles should be leaves only, do not bag your leaves. Keep all grass, brush clippings, and other debris (rocks, gravel, trash, metal, etc.) out of the leaf piles. Leaf piles containing such debris will not be picked up. Such debris can damage leaf collection equipment and injure the employees.

Leaves should be placed just behind the curb in your yard and extend no more than ten feet up into your yard because the hose can only reach so far. Do not place leaves in the street. Leaves in the street are a traffic hazard and during storms cause flooding in the streets and clog storm water catch basins. Leaf piles blocked by parked cars cannot be reached by the equipment and will be left until the next time the crew is on your street.

The City’s goal is to service each street weekly during the scheduled spring and fall leaf collection periods.
