Have you considered becoming a volunteer firefighter or EMT, but need more information? Wyoming Fire & EMS offers its members a diverse and dynamic working environment. Firefighter and EMT recruits receive training and equipment with a commitment of three years of service. In addition, the department offers weekly drills and various special trainings throughout the year. Please contact Chief Dennis Brown, at (513) 842-1357 to learn more information about becoming a volunteer firefighter.
- In order to be a volunteer firefighter you must:
- Be 18 years old
- Be a high school graduate or have your GED
- Complete your Firefighter I Course or EMT Basic Course
If you are interested in volunteering with Wyoming Fire & EMS we will provide your training and equipment in return for volunteering three years of committed service.

- Great work environment – Ohio PERS
- Hiring part-time Paramedics
- Paramedics will work 12/24 hour shifts – flexible scheduling
- Applicant must be able to work select weekends, nights, and holidays
- All applicants must hold a current Ohio Paramedic Certification
- Must have current BLS-CPR & ACLS
