Project updates

August 4, 2023

The pavilion work has begun with electrical rough-in work, block wall beginning, etc.  The seat wall, storm sewer, and other improvements on the south end are underway.  Work will continue through the summer with an anticipated completion date of October 1.

July 9, 2023

The foundations for the pavilion were poured this week and the (2) trees transplanted at Crescent Park. Work will continue through the summer with an anticipated completion date of October 1.

June 9, 2023

Alpha Construction has completed the demolition work and will begin underground utility work next week. The project is scheduled for completion October 1, 2023.

May 22, 2023

Alpha Construction will begin work the week of June 29. The project is scheduled for completion October 1, 2023.

April 17, 2023

Bids were opened on April 13, 2023, with Alpha Construction as the low bid at approximately $1.4 million. A resolution to award a contract is on the agenda for the April 17, 2023, City Council meeting.
