Hamilton County CARES: Rent, Utility, and Mortgage Assistance for Families
Hamilton County Commissioners recently announced financial assistance to help tenants stay in their homes. The new program is for renters who are struggling to pay rent and utility bills due to lost income from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Community Action Agency has a new State of Ohio CARES $4 million program for mortgage, rent, and utility assistance for families earning up to 200% of poverty level. No limit.

If you need assistance, send an email to epa@cincy-caa.org and include your name and phone number as well as a note indicating mortgage help. Applications are processed in the order received.  With the volume of applicants, it will take about 15 days for you to be contacted. Hamilton County Department of Job and Family Services has County CARES funding for rent and utility assistance of up to $5,000 for families earning 266% of poverty level or 80% of Area Median Income.
