Yard waste days will either be: Saturday, April 27, 2019 or Saturday, May 4, 2019 depending on what street you live on.

  • All items will need to be to the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. and you can begin placing items to the curb up to one week ahead.
  • Junk items NOT accepted are batteries, tires, liquids, combustible materials, hazardous materials, wet paint cans, upright pianos, cast iron bath tubs, or cast iron/concrete stationary tubs.
  • No construction materials of any kind will be accepted including, but not limited to, roofing, decking, concrete, and materials from alterations.
  • Mattresses, box springs, and upholstered furniture must be completely sealed in disposable plastic.
  • Any item containing Freon must have the chemical removed by a certified technician before the item can be picked up. The technician will place a sticker on the item certifying the Freon has been removed. Also, Rumpke’s Refrigerant Recovery Statement must also be completed and attached to the item before it can be picked up for the spring clean up.
  • Yard waste stickers are not required for the spring clean up however yard waste must be bundled and tied, bagged in paper yard waste bags, or placed in trash cans with handles and a lid in order for it to be picked up.
  • Twigs, leaves, grass clippings, and loose materials must be bagged in a paper yard waste bag or loosely in a trash can with a lid.
  • Yard waste may not be placed in plastic bags.
  • Yard waste not prepared correctly will NOT be picked up.
