Fire Hydrant Flushing
Fire hydrant flushing will occur on June 7-8 or June 14-15 depending on your street. Click here for a street-by-street listing to see when yours will be done. Hydrant flushing and testing may cause cloudy or red water in some areas. Water is safe to drink, but laundry should be done the day before or several days after flushing to avoid potentially damaging clothes. Regular flushing prevents the buildup of sediments and allows us to regularly check that all hydrants are working properly. We appreciate your patience during these flushing sessions.
